The book is about a teenage boy who is dying of cancer. The book
centres around the boy, his best friend, and a girl he befriends at
school (who I think was a bit of a loner). At some point in the book the
story moves to a trip the friends take to a lake, there they meet
another teen boy who's family own a house there. This boy falls for the
girl and not long after she starts to receive poems.
