25/03/2015 19:43:32 | This book is about a young Jewish girl named Hana Brady during World War II. Hana and her family were transported to concentration camps as the Nazis took over Novo Mesto (where the Brady’s home was). Fumiko Ishioka was inspired to find out about Hana Brady when Hana's suitcase was sent to her Holocaust Education Centre in Japan. I would definitely recommend this book to a friend because this is a story that everyone should learn about as well as the horrible things Adolf Hitler did to millions and millions of people includings 6 million Jews! By reading this book, it will show people the awful things that millions of people that went through The Holocaust and to make sure it should never happen again! It is a really heart touching story and I bet everyone would love this book | |
