Notes
Summary: The Happiness Box was a tale of a chi-chak lizard (gecko), a monkey and a frog on a quest for the secret of happiness. The story was written at Christmas in 1942, by Sgt. "Griff" Griffin, an Australian prisoner of war at Selarang Barracks, Singapore, with permission from their Japanese captors, as a present for the children of nearby Changi Jail. This book tells the story of how the book was written.Librarian's Miscellania
