She is left to live with family she never knew existed, it is bad enough that she only has two days notice before she has to leave Auckland to go to Wanganui, she has to live by 'The Rule' that the religious family lives by which is driving Kirby insane because they don't even call her by her actual name, they call her Esther. Why would her mother do this to her? | |
