Summary: Raina wakes up one night with a terrible upset stomach. Her mom has one, too, so it's probably just a bug. Raina eventually returns to school, where she's dealing with the usual highs and lows: friends, not-friends, and classmates who think the school year is just one long gross-out session. 18/03/2022 09:19:22 | I think I was 10 when I first read Guts by Raina Telgemeier. From then till now, I have read this book so many times that I have lost track of the amount of times I have sat down on the sofa and read this graphic novel cover to cover. The graphic novel is a quick, fun and easy read based on the author's childhood. Throughout the novel it shows her overcoming fears over various subjects. I would recommend this book for ages 9-13, anyone who needs a good book, or as the dedication says “ for anyone who feels afraid”. |
